#ConnectOpportunities is the event where we explore growth opportunities for startups and SMEs and we bring into the spotlights the organizations that play an active role in the ecosystem.

Daniel Rusen has an extensive business expertise of over 17 years of experience in telecommunications and IT industries. During his professional career at Microsoft, Daniel played major roles in facilitating the synergy between marketing & operations and in embarking Microsoft’s business partners in an in-depth transformation process towards cloud services. In his current role, Daniel leads his team to drive digital transformation growth and accelerate technological adoption across all segments on the Romanian market. His mission is to prove the remarkable power and essential role of cloud in digital transformation, as a way to spawn innovation and maximize efficiency in the business environment.

Dan Marculescu

With 12 years of successful experience in the Social Analytics, Experiential and Emerging media, Data Science, and Digital Strategic Developments, Dan took a deeper dive into the digital transformation of physical retail by founding Footprints for Retail. A visionary and a strong believer in the power of data as an asset, Dan is regularly seeking new ways to use advanced technologies to enable commercial real estate to reset its current operations and capitalize on the rise of the AI. Daniel has over 14 years of experience in the Supply Chain and E-commerce industries in local and international companies such as Orange and Oracle.
