Join the conversation on May 13th at Impact Hub Bucharest!

We live times where speed is essential and the volume of actions, tasks and decision you face is building by the second. Taking decisions is part of who you are and the greater the role, the heavier the burden. Entrepreneurs or Managers, it’s part of your job description to take the toughest decisions that usually affect not only the evolution of the business but the life of people working with you. In most cases there isn’t enough time or room to make sure that the choice you make is the best one. Sometimes its just like taking a leap of faith. It’s that defining moment when your experience, courage and belief are at the max and you go for it.

What is the problem we would like to address at Fears & Failures Conference?

We fear failure and we hide from it all the time. Very few of us have the courage to acknowledge that though we are driving small businesses or big organizations we are always building on the best practices and rarely talk freely and openly about bad moments. We will uncover the mysteries behind big failures and show you that there is nothing to fear about. It’s about understanding the why's, how's and when's in order to make sure that you evolve and you can innovate in your work.

Highlights of the day

The personal journey

A series of key notes from the entrepreneurial, sportive, political, artistical perspectives about the big failures and the effect they had both on a personal & professional level. What was the impact it triggered in the organization they are part of? Designed like a series of best cases they are presented and commented by the people that where in control of the situation.

Let's talk fears

A different perspective on what are our fears and how they can effect our daily lives. The two key notes of the day will talk about fears from an entrepreneurial and professional perspective trying to explain the connections between personal and professional life and our fears translating from one to another. What are the lessons to be learn from here?

L(a)unch it!

Setting up lunch is always boring moment. Every participant is running to take food and find a quiet space to spend some time with himself or with some people he or she is familiar with. How about turning the lunch into a 2 hour networking event where people need to interact, cook together, share ingredients and change impressions?

As the founder and managing director of OMA Vision since 2010, a strategic communication and public affairs consulting company, Oana lives by the belief that good communication is based on values - on sharing and standing by your own values, while understanding and respecting those of the people with whom you are communicating. And that a little empathy can go a long way. For her the question is never who's going to let me, but who’s going to stop me now.

Maia Morgenstern

Maia Morgenstern is one of the best-known theatre and film actresses in Romania, winner of the Emma Award and a recipient of the "Nihil Sine Deo" Royal Order and a Knight in the Order of Arts and Letters. Ovidiu Toader

With almost 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, Ovidiu has created 9 companies, exiting from 5, closing 2 and continuing as a partner in the remaining 2.
